After failing his exams, Ruan is forced to spend several months in his grand mother’s village. On his second morning there, he wakes up to find that the same day is repeating itself over and over again. He realises he has been given a purpose: to save the village and his own family from a looming disaster caused by the village’s dam breach.
But how can he change anything when no one believes him, and the authorities in charge are only going through the motions?

In this tale, Duman Erkimbek delivers a sharp critique of corruption, blending genres with flair, while also expressing a deep faith in young people as the driving force of change in our societies.
